#09 Launching a New Business: 5 tips to Get You Started

Happy new year! It’s often a very exciting time of the year for people deciding to launch a brand new business. Off the back of a refreshing break with time to focus on what’s ahead, business owners can be tempted to dive in headfirst with excitement. Enthusiasm is great, however, there are some important planning steps that also need to be taken to ensure the business continues to thrive.

In this episode, I share 5 key things for business owners to get sorted now during the exciting time to avoid any unnecessary pitfalls in the future. I discuss the importance of sorting out your business structure, deciding on your business name and of course, getting your legals tailored to suit your business without the use of templates.  I also share why you’ll never regret getting your accountant on board and how organising the boring things such as licences and insurances need to be done straight away.

For more information on business legals and why they are so vital for your business, check out Episode 4 of my podcast where I discuss these in more detail.
