Get to know Tracey

I’m doing law differently through my legal atelier.

  • Since starting this business in 2019, it became clear to me very quickly that the best legal work happens when I truly understood each client's unique story and business objectives. That lead to the evolution of my business to becoming a legal atelier where I take the time to understand a client’s business, what’s important to them and what drives them, so I can craft tailored advice and solutions that actually work — because your business deserves better than one-size-fits-all.

  • Purpose-driven service business owners who, like me, believe in doing things properly. You know that cutting corners on legal protection is a false economy, and you're ready to invest in foundations that will support your long-term success.

  • Taking the time to get to know your business so I can create legal solutions that actually make sense for you. As a 2/4 splenic projector in Human Design, I'm naturally curious with a knack for spotting and solving problems before they become expensive headaches. I'll always explain things in plain English — because legal jargon helps no one.

  • Double degree in Law (LLB) and Management, University of Canberra.

  • Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (GDLP), Australian National University (ANU).

  • Admitted to practice law, Supreme Court of the ACT, 2002.

  • More than 20 years of experience under my belt, with 12 years specialising in litigation & dispute resolution.

  • Australian Practising Certificate (unrestricted) NSW Law Society.

  • Lecturer in Law at ANU, 2014 to 2019.

  • Lecturer in Law (sessional) at UNSW.

Business Manager

Heidi is the business manager here at TM Legal Atelier, championing small businesses and coordinating all the moving parts to ensure our client experience is seamless.

  • With a flair for creativity and attention to detail, Heidi ensures we're all exceptionally organised. She's passionate about helping busy business owners stay across everything they need, so legal support and advice can be delivered seamlessly and without delay.

  • Heidi balances her time between TM Legal Atelier, enjoying her young family, exploring new places, and indulging in chai lattes and french pastries any chance she gets.

Lisa Turner
Bookkeeper

Lisa is a BAS agent and bookkeeper for her own business, Accounted For You. Lisa supports the TM Team with all things numbers and financials, including ensuring smooth transactions with our clients.

  • Lisa has been in the numbers game for almost 20 years and weaves her magic for us here at TM Solicitor.

  • In between supporting TM Atelier and her own team, Lisa looks after her young family, and nurturing her well-developed passion for plants and greenery.

Michelle Broadbent
Business Strategist

Michelle is an established Business Strategist who has supported Tracey since 2019. Michelle continues to be an integral support to Tracey and her vision and clarity were instrumental in the evolution to TM Legal Atelier.

  • In her own business, Michelle Broadbent, Michelle works with female founders to support them to build a business on their own terms – Tracey included! With more than 20 years of experience as a trusted advisor, Michelle is a leading Wing Woman supporting women on a 1:1 basis and in group settings, as they transition from solopreneur to CEO in their businesses.

  • Alongside her work with TM Legal Atelier and her own team, Michelle is also chef and Uber driver to her two teen daughters. She lives for her weekly boxing and dance classes, and time with girlfriends over coffee or wine.
